First trip to the ball park

We returned about an hour ago from Detroit and our first Tiger game of the year. We were hesitant about going because the forecast didn't look great, but it ended up being perfect. Not too hot and just a little overcast. We had a great time and thanks to a Grand Slam from Clete Thomas we watched the Tigers win :) (Thanks Aunt Rachel for babysitting Dolly!)

Keith and I went out to dinner to 84 East on Saturday night. Guess who walks in about 15 minutes after we sat down? Jean and Scott :) We scooted over and made room for them in our booth and had a nice dinner together. We couldn't resist the "World's Smallest Sundae" for dessert. (We both admitted that we eat pretty healthy during the week so we are allowed to cheat a little on the weekends....:)
Our view from $12 bleacher seats. It's actually a much better view than what the picture makes it seem. Lots of kids there today. Every Sunday is Kid's Day. Everyone 12 and under got a Verlander hat. We tried sweet talking a couple of the attendants into giving us 2 to bring home for Macey and Kelsey without any luck. We'll just have to take them there with us sometime! I think they would love running the bases after the game....

Gotta get the Muchos Nachos from the Big Cat Court! I decided to follow up the nachos with a vanilla shake from Big Boy. Not the best idea. Let's just say I spent a good amount of the 4th inning in the bathroom (laugh).

I couldn't resist getting my picture with Lady Liberty sporting the Detroit pride.

Gotta love Detroit...

You're a good aunt and uncle to at least try to get the hats! Thanks for trying :) Mace out of the blue came downstairs with her pink Tigers hat on tonight, it was cute...Glad they pulled off a win for you!
