Silver Lake

We spent the majority of Memorial Day weekend up at Silver Lake. This was my first time up there and it was a lot of fun! I knew they were known for their dunes and the big trucks that drove up and down them but I couldn't believe how MANY trucks there were. I felt totally out of place driving around in my Honda Accord!
This picture doesn't really do justice to how big and steep the dunes really were. I didn't think we were going to make it up!

Dave and Keith grilling burgers

Macey and I on the Jumping Pillow at Lewis Farms. She wasn't too sure about it at first but she saw me jumping around and decided to join me.

On Jean's family's dune buggy. So fun!

Macey was so proud to go on the train at Lewis Farms all by herself :)

The fishing was good! Keith's new waders were a hit
I scream you screambath time!
this is the good life :)

Little Sable lighthouse. All brick. very cool.

Did ya get the ice cream from the Whippy Dip? We spent every summer when I was a kid up at Silver Lake. My Grandparents had a cottage on the road right across from Mac Woods Dune rides... now my Uncle owns it. Good times.
