Celebrating St. Patty's a few days early

We took advantage of the nice weather yesterday and headed to 8th Street for the St. Patrick Day's parade. It's a fun parade. Lots of goodies are thrown out. I got a green fortune cookie, a shamrock tatoo, candy, and a necklace but was disappointed I wasn't handed a box of Lucky Charms. Lots of dogs were out and most were decked out in green. Dolly was no exception and got lots of attention from the kiddos.

I'm always jealous of the people who get to ride down the parade route on this

Later in the afternoon friends gathered at our house drinks and snacks. Always fun when we get together. Poor Jen was feeling very good (and by the end of the night hardly had a voice left) but still partook in the fun :)

Erin and I decided to try an Irish Car Bomb (Baileys and Guiness). Not too bad.

They were throwing out goodies from the stage at the Curragh. Jen went home with this prize. Lisa was jealous.
