Jen and I met up at my dad's house this morning to do some cleaning. We knew it would be a big job but I don't think we realized what we were in for! There was lots of deep down cleaning that needed to be done, but also LOTS of organizing and just throwing stuff out. We got rid of many ol
d pots and pans, mismatched dishes, etc. Both girls came along and were very very good. Macey even helped clean a little (the piano). Great weather today but we didn't get outside to enjoy it too much since we were busy cleaning. Uncle Keith took Macey outside to play for a little while when he got to my dad's. Aunt Rachel had all of us over for supper and fixed a delicious meal, complete with 3 choices of dessert! I really enjoy those home cooked meals ( I don't get them too often!). I have to give props to all of the Detroit teams last night. Tigers over the Yankees ( in NY!), the Pistons taking the lead in their first round of playoffs, and Red Wings who I really don't follow but I know they won last night so I will throw them in too. Dave is on his way home tonight from Ann Arbor. It will be nice to have him around again.

Glad to see the new post! It's nice that you thought to do a spring cleaning at your dad's. I bet he feels better being in a cleaner, more organized house. Darrin's watching the Tigers now. I can hear it. I'm sure you're watching too. Bennett's up late watching as well and just said "go Maggs!"
So GLAD for the new update on your blog. Sounds like you were busy yesterday but had a great meal at Aunt Rachel's. Those girls are such good girls, I saw Kelseyroni in her bouncing bed and Macey dusting the piano!!!
