Grey's

We are having a "Grey's Anatomy" party at my house tonight. Me and a few girls from work get together every Thursday night to watch the show. Everyone brings something to eat. I am making a baked spinach artichoke dip for tonight. Tonight is especially exciting since there has not been a new episode in so long due to the writer's strike. THEN at 10:00 there is a new episode of Lost. I don't really like it that Lost is going to air on thursday nights at 10:00 from now on. I would rather have it stay on wednesday to spread things out. Oh well. I had a nice surprise at work today. I came out of a room after bringing a patient back and found a pretty bouquet of fresh flowers on my desk! They were from Keith with a note saying that he knows my mom is proud of me. Sweet of him. Of course everyone that walked by asked me what the flowers were for since they knew it was not my birthday or anniversary. I was a little surprised at how choked up I felt when I told them what they were for. Everyone from my office knows about when happened with my mom and most of them came to her visitation or funeral. Many of them had not realized it had been 1 year already. Well, time to get going on that Spinach dip!

very pretty flowers that Keith got you, they do remind me of Mom with the bright colors.

How very sweet of Keith, and he sure was right-on....your Mom is so proud of you, Jen and David. I know it must be very hard to write about how terrible things were a year ago, you and Jen are very brave women. Your Dad is proud too!!!

I hope you had fun watching the Tigers win again today, watching Greys and Lost with your girlfriends.

So thoughtful of Keith to remember you at work with the flowers, but then I know how much he loves you, Brenda! He and I were "IMing" not too long ago when we happened to be online at the same time, and I remember one of the comments he made was that "Brenda makes marriage easy. She is so easy to love." I couldn't agree more! Hugs to you, Jen and David, and your dad as well, as all of us remember your mom.....
