But we are still "surviving" winter and having fun doing so (but sometimes I daydream about being at the Laketown beach in July...)
Dolly keeping warm. She's our little heater on the couch and in bed :)
I like it that many people have kept their Christmas light up during January. It's especially pretty down South Shore Dr. This is near Eldean Shipyard.

I always find a butterfly!
Keith has been WAY into ice fishing this year. He goes just about every day and usually brings several fish home which we've been enjoying. He talked me into going with him once. I'm not gonna lie..it was fun but COLD. I like fishing in my flip flops and tank top way better.

Ron, I am SO SICK of the cold!
Nice pictures Brenda. We still need to go sledding before spring.
Brenda - Uncle Scott took me ice fishing too one time years and years ago, and I still remember it as being the coldest I've ever been in my life - we weren't even in a shanty, just out in the open - must have been true love! Never again (& I think I can safely say that since it's been over 30 years ago - haha). Grandpa Nykerk used to take us kids on Lake Macatawa near the lighthouse, back when there used to be tons of shanties there every year - that was warmer, but not by too much! Glad Keith is enjoying it, though....
