I feel like summer is slipping by so fast and I am getting behind on blogging. Here are just a couple of recent pictures...

I had a fun trip to Colon this past Satrday. Went to a little Farmer's Market. Not quite like the one in Holland but it was their first one. Hopefully it grows a little bit. I got some raspberry jam and homemade granola. We went to the great Kuntry Korner Amish Store, the beach in Nottawwa, and then for ice cream and this GREAT little parlor in the back of a Marathon gas station. I wish I took a picture of how big their cones our. The first time ever I have not been able to finish my ice cream cone. And it was a "baby" size. No lie!
Keith, Dan, Amanda, and I took a party bus to the Tiger game this past Sunday. It was fun but a little more rowdy than I had planned on. There were 36 of us on the bus. Many of them were drinking from 8:30am to 8:30pm. I can't keep up with that! Thank goodness there was a bathroom on the bus. It's a miracle that no one puked. The ride there was more fun than the way back. It was a loooooong ride home. Here Amanda and I are trying to fit in with the young kids by taking a shot (lol...ok it was a butter shot but still) at 9am.
Our 4th of July present from Ernie. I think she has a connection with someone in Indiana. Some of them look a little scary. We haven't shot any of them off yet. Maybe some night in the Nykerk compound? :) She always gets a little something for Dolly too..notice the red white and blue tennis balls.

So my bags are all packed and I am just waiting for Jen to call me when she starts to go into labor. Who wants a phone call once I get the call from her? (even if its 3am???) Can't wait to meet my new niece....

Hi Bren - I'd love to get a call from you when you head out to be with Jen when she goes into labor (maybe not at 3am on the phone - if it's during the middle of the nite, an im to my cell phone would be great). But anytime between say 6am - 12midnight please call me! This is exciting!
