what I've been up to

Picking Honeycrisp apples at Crane's Orchard with my friend Amanda and her little girl IzzyJust about 100 lbs!Had to stop at the restaurant for a caramel apple sundaeHelping Lisa celebrate her 31st birthday. Jen and Jason even made it. What a treat!Visiting Colon. I got to sit in on Jen's photo shot of the Vandenberg kids. The pictures turned out so good! Check out her blog to see if you haven't already. In this picture Macey is telling jokes to make Bennett and Annabelle laugh
Some more shots from the day...

giving LOTS of flu shots!

Still being dedicated to P90X. We are on Phase 2 now. Keith has lost 13 lbs so far. I have gained 2. What is up with that? Must be the added muscle (smirk).
Apparently not taking good care of my teeth. Started having a pretty bad toothache last week. I'll admit that I've gone a couple of years without going to the dentist (not my favorite and no insurance) and I guess I'll have to pay the price. Literally. Have to get a root canal. $950! Big "doh"!
Hoping and praying the Tigers make it to the playoffs!!!

Great post, Bren! Sorry to hear about your tooth - my girls think there is a genetic flaw in the Nykerk teeth, as they have both had to have root canals, too! Yes, definitely, to the family breakfast while Aunt Carol is still here - not sure about next Saturday just yet, as we may be in Chicago, but our kids (some or all) might be here, too, so will let you know....

Your clipart makes me laugh! I like the picture of me taking the pictures with Macey entertaining :) What have you done with all your honey crisps? Thanks again for ours, we're wishing we had more even. ( we picked more too on top of what you gave us )

The dentist actually said "Must be that Nykerk gene" as he looked at my tooth!

We have just been eating the Honeycrisps as they are. Keith has one every day in his lunch (sometimes I pack extra for the other workers :) I did make apple dip for our Grey's Anatomy get together last week and I think I might make an apple crisp this afternoon.
