I was up bright at early (5:30am) Saturday morning. I was so excited that Jen was coming in for a morning of garage sales :) We had breakfast at DeBoer Bros for first. Big neighborhood sale in Olde Hunter's Crossing. Ran into several people that we knew including my dad and Uncle Jim. I didn't know they liked to go garage saling! We didn't buy too much at the sales in that sub. So busy and a bit overwhelming. Jen however made a BIG purchase at another garage sale that we kind of stumbled upon...I'm guessing she will have a blog about her big find in the next day or so :)Went to watch the West Ottawa baseball team play in Districts yesterday afternoon. Dave is the pitching coach. WO ended up winning and will move on to Regionals (as will the Colon baseball team!). Brings back memories from when Dave played. We went to so many of his games...fun times.
I made these protien pancakes for breakfast this morning. Elizabeth gave me the recipe and it was so good and EASY. 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 cup oatmeal, 7 egg whites. Put in blender and pour onto griddle. It makes quite a few. I put a little PB, bananas, and a sprinkle of cinnamon on some and freash strawberries on the others. BTW, Meijer has really good tasting strawberries right now...
I was laying out this afternoon and needed to go inside for something. I came back out and found that my spot had been taken :)
The rest of the weekend was spent grilling out, fixing up the yard, reading on the deck (got a new book at garage sale yesterday), and watching the Tigers :)

What fun to watch such a cute little one ! The pancakes look and sound yum. I am so glad Dolly has such fine comforts, I kind of figured she did not suffer much.
