Weigh in time....

I wanted to wait 1 full week of being on this diet before I stepped on a scale. I was anxious to see if it was working but don't want to get in the habit of stepping on the scale every day. I'm happy to report that I am down 7 lbs. since last week. I was hoping for at least 5 lbs. so this is definitely enough to keep me motivated. I plan to "reward" myself with 20 minutes in the tanning bed on my day off :) I'd like to stay on the weight loss portion of the Medifast diet for another couple of weeks. I really doubt I will lose 7 lb.s a week from here on out, I'm sure much of it was water weight. At that point I will start incorporating some "normal" foods and also start working out a little more.
We really didn't do a whole lot this weekend. In fast the only time I even left the house was for church yesterday. Keith was able to get in a lot of ice fishing which was nice for him. He had quite a lot of action. He invites me along but I would get too cold staying out there for 4-5 hours at a time (Dad, he says the Lava Buns work GREAT!) I did a really good clean of the house on saturday. Came accross some of my old journals from high school and college and had some good laughs reading those for a while, watched movies, read, took walks with Dolly, and managed to not "snack" :)
Have a good monday...

wow, not that I think you need it AT ALL, but that is a pretty sweet accomplishment..I have to tell you that my dad went on a diet (for health reasons) and cut out all red meat and alcohol and eats TONS of fish and salads and such (and is on the cheerioes cholesterol challenge, yes he is a big dork, but it worked!) and he lost 40 pounds in TWO months! isn't that insane?! I told him he was so in Stephen King's novel Thinner and he was going to fade away! madness! so please don't do that because you look fabulous as you! but again, that is awesome.

Well, young lady, that is QUITE an accomplishment! As others have said, I think you look great already, but if it makes you feel better, then wonderful!
