Early Birds!
The alarm went off at 2:00 am this morning. I was at Denny's by about 2:45 with Jen meeting me there soon after. We enjoyed breakfast, coffee, and cappuccino while finalizing our shopping route. Younkers and Kohl's both opened at 4:00. The line outside Kohl's was crazy long so we decided Younkers would be our first stop. From there we went to Kohl's, Wal-Mart, Target, Michael's, Meijers, back to Younkers, Menards, and then to Bob Evans for breakfast with Aunt Jean, Rachel, Katie, Uncle Scott, and Dave. Overall, I feel like we were pretty successful. I also thought everyone was quite friendly and helpful at most places. The lines moves quickly.Looking forward to next year already....

I've been waiting for this post, doesn't today seem neverending? I'm surprised I haven't felt like I needed to nap even. I was laughing so hard at your pictures, good one!
I 2nd Jenny. I have been waiting for this post, I have also been waiting for Jen to update....hint....
I LOVE the picture of you shopping w/o a cart, your eyes up in the air, but it looks like you had a steady hold and the one of Jen grabbing the jump-er-roo or what ever it was. I thought when I saw those Ugg boots on sale for 9.99 for toddlers in pink swede at Burlington Coat factory, those are a must have for Macey
Fun day, as "per normal" for the big post-Thanksgiving shopping day! We were glad to be able to have breakfast with Bren and Jen at Bob Evans around 10am - we were pretty proud of ourselves, as Rachel, Katie and I were up by 3:30and arrived at Kohl's just after 4:00! (That's pretty good for us; the earliest we've ever gone!) We even made a trip to Grandville after the Holland excursion and landed some good deals at Macy's. Katie figured by the time we got home for good we had been shopping for about 11 hrs! Whew!
