Visit to the East side

Keith and I drove to the east side of the state for a summer get together with his family this weekend. His sister Marybeth was in town from Tennessee. It was good to see all of them again. We don't see his side of the family too often and it's always a good time when we get together. There are lot of little boys on his side of the family and they had fun playing hockey with Keith. They also had a blast with a water gun/balloon fight that got a little carried away. I decided to stay inside for that part :) BTW, the guacamole I made was a huge hit! We came home this afternoon and spent a typical lazy sunday at home. Watch the Tigers win again, took Dolly for a walk, ordered Jets pizza and watched the movie "Knocked Up" which I thought was quite good and funny. Our neighbor came by to give us a huge cooler full of Salmon he has just caught out of Lake Michigan. I am not a huge fan a Salmon but my dad and some of the boys love it. They were golfing in Saugatuck tonight but came by on their way home to help Keith fillet them. Keith was trying to teach me how to fillet them. The blood, guts, and smell is a little too much for me. I can watch but I don't think I would want to do it myself. Watching the Cubs/White Sox game now. Rooting for the Cubs of course....

Jason and I thought you'd be at the Tiger game today since it was such a great game last night, thought it'd pump you up to go, guess not. Glad you had fun with Keith's family. I hope you told Gloria thank you for the Dairy Queen money :)
