Dolly found a little bunny in our neighbor Charles's bush tonight. She was chasing the bunny around the yard and the bunny started crying. I had ever heard a rabbit cry like that before. Keith and Charles thought it was funny and wanted Dolly to kill it but I thought it was sad and I tried to save the bunny. I even tried to feed it a baby carrot. I thought it was going to be OK and I got to snuggle it for a while but it ended up dying in my hands. Poor bunny :(

oh Bren, that is very sad. I can't believe you held it....kinda like when you found that turtle at my house and you and Mace played with it for the day. You make me laugh.

Oh Ron, I am so sad! I'm glad you didn't think it was funny! I went to see a litter of lab puppies yesterday and thay were soooo stinkin' cute. There is a yellow one with a slightly deformed ear and she is super sweet. I wish I could take her. I held her for a long time and she snuggled right in. Then when Carol left with my kids all the puppies ran along the gate with her except for this precious girl. She stood at my feet and looked at me. I think if you had been there, you would have taken her!!! Fricking precious!
When I lived in Fennville one of the cats brought a baby bunny in and the cats and dog were playing with it and it was crying like that and I actually cried for it. Poor thing died. I hate to see animals hurting like that. thanks for taking care of the bunny brenda!
